I don't know how many of my faithful readers were converted to Thai Rub (from a previous Costco post). It's a delicious barbecue spread from the deli section. Not a dry spice rub, but an oily, peppery paste. SO good on Bridget's favorite salmon burgers. But it's GONE!!! If anyone knows where to find it, let me know!
But almost making up for that sad loss is "Franz whole grain white bread" with no fewer than SIX grams of fiber per slice. Can't beat that. My SIL Velvet told me you shouldn't eat bread with less than 5 grams of fiber per slice, which is hard to find. Unless you buy the bird-seed bread, which doesn't go over well with everyone. My kids were so excited to see white bread in our kitchen--I was the hero of the day!
Any good Costco finds? Please share!

Oh, my good friend Sarah got the slip-n-slide at Costco, just in case you were wanting to run out and put one of those in your cart!
So good to see your missionary efforts on your blog. What a good idea.
Velvet told us about the 6 grams too and I had only found Oroweat Active Health with 5 grams and had given up on finding 6 grams. Now I'll watch for the Franz. Thanks for the tip.
Good job on the I belong! I figure since I usually am to scared to say anything I might as well be a missionary on my blog! Glad you joined in the efforts:0) Hmmmm...Costco. Well, you could try the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce on any sandwich.( especially a turkey one) SO GOOD! Or mix it with cream cheese for a yummy dip. The box of Kudos makes me happy and I have been told that 1 bar is only 2 points on Weight Watchers:0)They remind me of a candy bar so I try to buy the Chocolate Oat fiber One bars every other time. The kids like those too. The teriyaki chicken in the frozen section is scrumptious. I like Costco!
I never did find that rub Brenda although I did look. Guess its a good thing since I'd be heartbroken now that its gone.
I am definitely buying that bread next time.
I also loved the fresh turkey burgers they had. They were in the refrigerator not freezer section. They had carmelized onions in them and feta cheese. SO GOOD. Now they're gone too. So sad.
That's the problem with Costco. You get so attached to things and then they disappear. I find myself checking for months, even years, after the last sighting. Remember that yummy brown bread with oats on it. Still hoping it will reappear. As for the Franz bread, I was thrilled when I realized it was a 1 point bread. My kids, and Rick, were so happy to not eat wheat bread anymore.
I just tried their pesto pizza in the freezer section. It was really good. I don't remember the name but it comes in a three pack shipped straight from italy.
My whole fam liked it except for Sid. She won't eat the color green.
Hey Brenda, This has nothing to do with costco but you won't return my phone calls (I'm not offended) and I was just catching up on my favorite blogs and I wanted to say hi and tell you that twice this week I have run into the Andrus/Anders thing - you know the "thing" I'm talking about. First it was Mrs. Woods who introduced me as Mrs. Anders I mean Mrs. Andrus and I wanted to say, "No, it's Mrs. Berkeley" then Mrs. CB thought that Berkeley's name was in the newspaper when it was really Anders. It is so funny to me that issue still lingers.
I missed out on the rub, but I think I have been buying the bread for a while. I'll have to check. I sure appreciate the great tips!!! I love the commercial of the huge slip and slide going down a huge street. I really want to do that.
I often go to Costco just to buy that bread. I sure need to find something more useful to do with my time. Like make treats for you! I'll work on that.
No good finds at Costco, but they just ditched my favorite shampoo for my kids...I hate it when they decide to drop a product that I've become so dependent on!
Just wanted to say that I love the mormon.org addition to your blog - awesome!
