wonderland

So my bonus day of the previous post turned into a bonus week. No school, lots of play. My parents came up to go to the temple Friday and decided to stay through to Christmas. We're thrilled to be snowed in with them. My dad and Sam heroically shoveled the driveway and sidewalk (while I was still sleeping).

Milo is still confused about the snow.
He wants in and out all day, just like the kids.

Mike made caramel corn, then heroically cleaned
off his truck to deliver it to people.

Sam's ice castle.

I just posted some identical pictures-except your chunks of ice are bigger and Sam's ice castle is super cool. We'll have to try that tomorrow. Have fun with your parents. Times like these are rare. We need to savor it!

Wow, what fun! I can't believe this snow!
Missing you and your family. I am so out of touch. Your family looks great. Hope you have a healthy stock of hot chocolate! Stay warm.

That ice castle is awesome! I love it! Those pictures are great too! By the way, I love the new color of your house and your new door. I admire it every time I drive by!

No kidding, and it's even piling higher today! I posted a bunch of pictures too (and I suspect lots of us did... this is a memorable winter around here)!

I LOVED the ice castle, though, that's awesome.

Wow. That's lot of heroics. You forgot Berkeley's heroism in walking my boys home today. That gets huge points in my book.

Are you sure that is Portland and you weren't transported to Utah? I can't believe how much snow you got! I love Sam's ice castle, very cool!
