Teacup Lake

So I have to confess, I never saw a lake.

I was too busy racing to keep up with the Raddatz sisters, who are super-women. But I am afraid I am one of those people who tends to miss the scenery anyway. I was loving the workout, the conversation, and the get-away factor. And the feel of the forest. What a serene place--I just feel more alive when I'm in a forest. It feeds me.

Pictured are Allyn, Heather-the-birthday-girl, and me.

Ladies, we need to wax up those skies and go again!

Oh, what fun! You don't look very bundled up though Brenda. Were you freezing???

That sounds so wonderful. I love being out in the forest as well. Where is your coat?

Cute picture. I love how outdoorsy you are! When I was was growing up out in the middle of nowhere, I had forests all around me and I always wished I could be in the city instead--but now that I am and adult I realize what I took for granted, and sometimes wish I could live out in the boonies again :) Sounds like it was a fun time.

Where is my coat? You guys are sweet to be worried about me! I was so hot most of the time my coat was in my backpack.

Refreshed is another kind comment, considering I got to bed after night skiing at about one a.m., then woke up at 6 bells for this outing.

You name a time and I'll go again! I loved it. I was sore for days. I guess maybe we should have slowed down a bit-I was just trying to keep up with the birthday girl! That was a happy day. Thanks for the post on my blog-I'm excited to join the fun.

Do you downhill ski? I am looking for someone or a group of friends who would want to go without kids. It looks like you had a great time
