shallow waters

I know I promised some deep thoughts when I announced I would be blogging every day. But they haven't really surfaced, have they? You just can't force these things.

I was sitting in church last week, contemplating my soul and salvation, when a lady caught my eye. She had formerly been blond, and is now light brunette. I've been thinking about cutting my hair short, and now this new idea has seized me. Why not try a color change? And now that I'm fully accessing the shallowest part of my nature by blogging about my hair, I'm going to go ahead and ask for input. Short and brown. Long and brown. Short and blond. Or long and blond?

I admire those ladies who can do a complete change of "look." I just don't know if I can pull it off.

Nothing like this:

Maybe something like this (Who is she, anyway?):

That's my vote! Short blonde. But I think you could pull off almost anything with your facial structure. Good luck!

I say go dark. Have you ever? It's my favorite thing when I need a change. Maybe I'll go dark again too. You'd look great with dark hair.

when someone intellectual asks me about my blog, I always describe it as a wade in shallow waters.

you can TOTALLY pull off that cut. I think you look adorable in short and longer hair. you have such a cute little face.

The lady in question is Natalie Imbruglia, actress and singer, best known for her cover of "Torn".

Oh, yes try it! Aren't you the one who convinced me to do the temporary hair color? Buy the month long color. Then if you don't like it, at least you are done in 28 shampoos.

You'd look great with short hair too! Don't go longer. I remember when you cut your hair a few years ago and it looked so great. I like it better short.

I got asked today where I got my new hair cut, and I told them the kitchen. I did part of it, and Esther did the part that looks good. Zachary let me cut his yesterday, and when I asked him how he wanted it she said "However. Just not like yours." I have the luxury of not caring much about my hair, so I aim for low hassle.

I know I am way late but I have never seen it in person short and I would go with the temp. hair color too. That way if you don't like it you will have it back to normal after a few shampoos. I just did mine reddish with one of those wash out kinds, it is fun! See you in December, Carl and I are excited!
